Bella and Gabriel jetted up the East Coast to Rochester this morning. I was not particularly excited about having to be up at 3:30am, drive 3 hours to Orlando airport, then drive all the way back with a whiny husband and 4 year old. Now, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy all the non-fighting. No more arguing over toys. No more complaining about who did what to whom and why it all resulted in ripped coloring books and 3-wheeled cars. On the other hand, Sofia isn't my biggest helper. She can't empty the dishwasher for me or fold clothes (even though they complain throughout the process, it gets done). And my official Cat Poop Litter Box Man is not here. That means I'll be doing the scooping...yay..so..excited.. Plus, I'm just plain jealous that as I write, they are probably having a blast and seeing everyone and eating all that yummy Rochesterian food. While I'm here..scooping poo.
Speaking of all that food up there (did I mention the clam bakes and homemade cheesecake), Mauricio decided that his naturally skinny frame should diet prior to going, that way he wouldn't put on too much weight during our 10 day trip. Not me though. No dieting here. I bought elastic-waist shorts :)
